What I Do

You don't need to be sick to see a Naturopath. If you desire better health, you've come to the right place. And however you define better health - more energy, a more radiant glow, preventing cancer - I will design a treatment approach that gets you on the right path - one that helps you take that next step towards optimal health.

Sometimes, better health means relief from, or the elimination of a specific ailment. Just like your MD, I will take a thorough health history to identify the cause of your concern, and give you treatment protocols to address it.

Very simply, I help people feel better.

Naturopathic Medicine gives you options which may be used in combination with, or as an alternative to a medical prescription medication. It expands upon the conventional medical repetoire to give you more choice.

An acute medical emergency requires emergency MD care, but Naturopathic Medicine excels in addressing chronic diseases for which conventional medicine  often lacks effective treatment options: allergies, auto-immune diseases, skin disorders, stress and gastro-intestinal concerns such as IBS and inflammatory bowel disease are just a few examples.

The path towards better health can be long and winding, and sometimes it's helpful to have a guide to walk with you.  As your ND, I'm also your health coach, providing support along the way.

There's a saying among Naturopathic Doctors: we treat people, not diseases. Treating people means thinking of each person's uniqueness and complexity, goals, risk factors and priorities, all within the context of their life. To make a list of the conditions I treat, therefore, seems in contrast to the naturopathic philosophy, but to help give you a sense if this approach can help you, here is a list of health concerns Naturopathic Medicine can help to address.
